Mini symposium, part 1: Designing Regional Landscape Parks

18032025

📆 3 April 2025 ⏰ 15:00-17:00 🌍 Mini symposium

Renowned international landscape architects, Henri Bava (Agence TER) and Berno Strootman (Strootman Landscape Architects), share their expertise and showcase inspiring projects from the Netherlands and beyond, exploring the concept of Regional Landscape Parks and their role in shaping urban regions.

A regional landscape park is a thoughtfully designed interconnected landscape and nature network that integrates nature, culture, agriculture, and recreation, enhancing environmental sustainability, biodiversity, and liveability while preserving the region’s unique character. It also fosters collaboration among local governments, farmers, residents, organizations, and businesses.

This symposium welcomes students and professionals interested in landscape-based urban development, landscape architecture, sustainable urban design, spatial strategy and planning, and co-creative processes.
