UN picks up student thesis project on Syrian refugee camps

The MSc thesis project of Robert Kruijt was picked up in the Resource, the Wageningen UR magazine. It reports on the project of Robert in Syrian refugee camps in Zaatari, Jordan. Robert went there for his MSc thesis Landscape Architecture. He used the so called ‘Green Town Programme’ method of Ingrid Duchhart. This implies that he worked with a small group of refugees to see what was needed and wanted. And also with these people the first steps where taken to start building the little gardens.

After the article in the Resource Robert Kruijt was also interviewed for Dutch TV.
